Brenda, a detective leads an investigation of a murder of a young women. When she discovers the victim was on an online dating app called Nightalk, Brenda goes on the app undercover, on her own hook, to see if the victim met her assailant on the net. Soon she develops a relationship of her own with Tom, who turns out to be the main suspect. Brenda is caught between love and solving the case.
